What this demonstration storefront stores, what it does not, and what a production version of the store would do differently.

Demonstration build — descriptive, not a live legal notice

What this build actually does with your data

This site is a demonstration storefront. Almost nothing you type is transmitted anywhere. The bag, the wishlist and the demo order reference are stored in your own browser using localStorage, and they never leave your device.

That means: no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no third-party trackers, no account system and no server-side database of customers. Clearing your browser data removes the bag, the wishlist and the demo confirmation permanently.

  • Shopping bag — stored in your browser, never transmitted
  • Wishlist — stored in your browser, never transmitted
  • Demo order reference — generated and stored in your browser only
  • Newsletter and contact forms — validated in the browser, then discarded
  • Fonts — loaded from Google Fonts, which will see your IP address as part of serving them

A production build would differ

This policy describes how the live store is expected to handle data if this demonstration were put into production. Where the two differ, the demonstration behaviour above is what actually happens on this site today.

What would be collected

On a live store we would collect the information needed to fulfil an order: name, email, delivery address, phone number if you provide one, and the contents of your order. We would also keep an order history so support can answer questions about a specific delivery.

  • Order and contact details, used only to fulfil and support your order
  • Email address, used for order updates and — only if you opt in — drop announcements
  • Aggregate traffic counts, used to see which pages are read, never to build a profile of you

What we would never do

We would not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or add third-party marketing trackers. We would not ask for card details on this site under any circumstances — payment would happen on a hosted, PCI-compliant provider that we never see.

  • Sell or rent customer data to anyone
  • Add advertising or cross-site tracking pixels
  • Store full payment card numbers
  • Send marketing email you did not ask for

Cookies and local storage

This build sets no cookies. It uses localStorage for the bag, the wishlist and the demo order confirmation. If you block localStorage, the shop still works for the current page view but nothing persists between pages or reloads.

Your rights

Under UAE and most international data protection regimes, you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. On this demonstration build there is nothing held anywhere except on your own device — clearing site data is a complete erasure.

For a live store, email support@tdstreetwear.com and we will respond within one working day.
